Draco: Everything You Need To Know About MindAI's New Generative AI Assistant
As Generative AI technology is being adopted by multiple people on a daily basis, the industry is far behind from being saturated. Giant AI research labs like OpenAI and Google DeepMind are continuing to release their latest artificial intelligence models by reducing the costs of hosting these models and increasing the accuracy in the generated responses. While every company has their own pricing plan to use their most powerful, it becomes difficult for users to subscribe for different pricing plans for costs and services reasons, that's where Draco comes in play.
What Is Draco?
Draco is an AI assistant powered by the latest Generative AI conversational models such as Google Gemini and OpenAI’s ChatGPT models which are used for chatbots. Draco is a web application, which means it can be easily accessed by any user from any device that can navigate the internet. The main advantage of Draco being a web application is that it doesn’t require any installation on users' devices, whether it be a laptop, tablet, computer, or a mobile phone. While many users may prefer a downloadable application, the web app is designed to provide a fast and memory-efficient experience, giving users a quick and smooth experience. Draco can be used to improve productivity and knowledge within a multitude of use cases. Users can pose questions to Draco and receive concise and accurate answers, examples, and information.
Who created Draco?
Draco or Draco-GPT was created and is yet to be released by MindAI -- a cutting-edge technologies provider, serving products powered with artificial intelligence (AI) generative models combined with Web3 features in 2024. It was founded by Mukhwinder Singh an enterpreneur and software engineer in 2022. MindAI also created TMC -- a utility token minted on the Ethereum chain that gives users the possibility to receive access to premium functionalities of satellites in the MindAI's ecosystem.
How does MindAI Draco Work?
Draco is an artificial intelligence powered conversational application that combines the power of Generative AI with the Web3 technology to deliver an unprecedented and versatile approach towards AI. Draco is also an innovative application that is powered by OpenAI’s latest multimodal models such as GPT-4, GPT-4 vision and GPT-4o, Google’s latest multimodal models such as Google Gemini Pro and Gemini Ultra. The whole application is built with typescript a programming language that is used for web applications development with a framework called NextJs which is designed specifically for multiple pages web applications and is highly optimized for performance.
What can MindAI Draco do?
Draco has capabilities in processing text prompt and inputs with images when a vision model is used. The following are the capabilities of Draco:
- Text prompts: users can prompt text inputs to receive answers.
- Image processing: Draco can process any size of image with the usage of vision models like GPT-4-vision and Gemini Vision
- Document processing: while this feature won’t come out for the initial version, Draco would be available to process word files and give a summary and answers about the document inputted.
What are the limitations of Draco?
There are several challenges facing some of the features of Draco. The following are some of the challenges the MindAI team has to face before releasing the full version of Draco:
-
Implementation. While most of the capabilities of Draco will come out with the initial version, the most of the core functionalities will be delivered during the upcoming months
-
Service uptime. Draco uses API from OpenAI and other generative AI companies which allows to use their conversational models through API, this means that if one of these companies has some kind of server problem, Draco won’t work on that particular service but luckily there will be multiple options so if one model won’t work the other will be up!
-
Free access. Draco as for other satellites that are yet to be released, can be used for free but with a limited amount of text inputs that will be refreshed on daily bases which means if you runs out of the amount of text inputs you will have to wait till the next day to continue use Draco. The text inputs are calculated in an amount of tokens which you can monitor on the user profile dashboard. You can think of tokens as pieces of words, where 1000 tokens is about 750 words.
What kind of tasks can users ask Draco?
Draco can process and solve a variety of tasks and questions, including simple or more complex tasks, such as "help to create a snippet for an NFT smart contract" or "help me write a short note to introduce myself to my neighbor." STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) are the disciplines in which Draco is proficient because the models it relies on are advanced in these disciplines. Draco can also debug or write code effectively.
What are the use cases of Draco?
Draco can be used for different use cases more than having human conversations. People can use Draco to resolve the following tasks:
- Summarize pieces of texts, articles or presentations,
- Draft different types of presentations,
- Generate code snippets in different programming languages and check for bugs in code,
- Generate captions for images
- Solve complex and annoying math problems,
- Discover new keywords for search engine optimization.
- Create titles for articles,
- Assist with programming activities to organize your calendar,
- Translate from a language to different languages,
- Create resumes and cover letters,
- Ask trivia questions,
- Make jokes
